Restriction of sick persons entry in production area
PharmaDocsLine’s Sick-Personnel Restriction SOP bars entry to production areas for anyone showing fever, diarrhoea, coughing, skin lesions, or other communicable illnesses, in line with FDA 21 CFR 211.28(d) and WHO GMP §11.3.
Supervisors and security staff must screen employees and visitors at the gate, document symptoms, and redirect affected individuals for medical clearance before they reach gowning rooms, as emphasized by PIC/S GMP Chapter 2 ¶2.15-2.17.
Health-status questionnaires, posted exclusion signs, and daily self-declarations create a proactive barrier that prevents contamination and safeguards product quality and patient safety.
